The gods are gone. All of them.

When the gods left, their last message to humanity was: "Thank you for believing in us, but it is not enough. We're leaving. Good luck." At first no one took them seriously. Until, that is, all the denizens of all the heavens and hells started showing up on people's doorsteps.

Creatures that were once thought of as myth are now refugees striving to adapt to life on earth. Trouble is, after eons of living forever, they're not very good at being mortal.

This page is dedicated the trials and tribulations of Other refugees as they do their best adjust to life in the GoneGod world.

The Minotaur

Before the gods left, I was guarding the entrance to Minos's labyrinth. Now that they're gone, I deliver pizza.

Being a refugee is tough. Being a nine-foot tall, half-bull, half-man refugee from another reality is even tougher.

Not many people know this, but there is no exit to my labyrinth. Well, that's not exactly true...I guess death is an exit. But that's not the point. The point is that my labyrinth didn't have a 'way out'. It was designed to keep you in. Think of it as a jail and I'm the warden. Once a god condemned you to my labyrinth, the only way you got out was if said god forgave you. Gods don't forgive. Not easily, at least.

Theseus didn’t have a ball of thread. Where did you read that? I tell you… your ‘mythology’ is our tabloids. Full of half-truths, exaggerations and lies.
